There are several indications for a caesarean section, including but not limited to:
Prolonged labor or failure to progress in labor. Fetal distress, where the baby is not getting enough oxygen. Placenta previa, where the placenta covers the cervix. Breech presentation, where the baby is positioned feet-first. Multiple pregnancies, such as twins or triplets. Previous C-section or other uterine surgeries.
