Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone (GnRH) is a decapeptide hormone produced in the hypothalamus. It plays a critical role in the regulation of the reproductive system by stimulating the anterior pituitary gland to release gonadotropins--namely luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH).
