The HPV vaccine is recommended for preteens, both girls and boys, starting at age 11 or 12. However, it can also be administered as early as age 9 and up to age 26 for those who did not receive it earlier. In some cases, the vaccine is recommended for individuals up to age 45, depending on their risk factors and discussion with their healthcare provider.
