Vertex Presentation: The most common and ideal position, where the babyâs head is down, and the chin is tucked to the chest. Occiput Anterior: The babyâs head is down, with the back of the head facing the front of the motherâs pelvis. Occiput Posterior: The babyâs head is down, with the back of the head facing the motherâs back. This can make labor more difficult and prolonged.
