CA-125: Primarily used in the detection of ovarian cancer. Elevated levels can indicate malignancy but are not exclusively specific to ovarian cancer. Human Epididymis Protein 4 (HE4): Another marker for ovarian cancer, often used in conjunction with CA-125 to improve diagnostic accuracy. Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP): Used in pregnancy to detect fetal anomalies and in some cases of ovarian cancer. Inhibin A and Inhibin B: Useful in the diagnosis of granulosa cell tumors of the ovary. Cancer Antigen 19-9 (CA 19-9): Sometimes elevated in ovarian cancer.
