Find a quiet, comfortable place where you won’t be disturbed. Sit or lie down in a comfortable position. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to relax. Start with your toes and work your way up to your head, tensing each muscle group for about 5-7 seconds and then slowly releasing the tension for about 15-20 seconds. Focus on the feeling of relaxation as you release the tension. Continue this process until you have gone through all the major muscle groups in your body.
