Mixed incontinence refers to the coexistence of both stress urinary incontinence (SUI) and urge urinary incontinence (UUI) in a patient. Stress urinary incontinence is the involuntary leakage of urine during activities that increase intra-abdominal pressure, such as coughing, sneezing, or physical exertion. Urge urinary incontinence, on the other hand, involves a sudden, intense urge to urinate followed by involuntary leakage. Together, these conditions can significantly impact a woman's quality of life.
