Diagnostic hysteroscopy is a minimally invasive procedure used to examine the inside of the uterus. It involves the insertion of a thin, lighted tube called a hysteroscope through the cervix and into the uterine cavity. This allows gynecologists to diagnose and evaluate uterine abnormalities such as polyps, fibroids, and adhesions.
