- Bacterial Vaginosis (BV): Caused by an imbalance in the vaginal bacteria, characterized by the presence of clue cells. - Candidiasis: A fungal infection caused by Candida species, often presenting with thick, white discharge and itching. - Trichomoniasis: A sexually transmitted infection caused by the parasite Trichomonas vaginalis, identifiable by the presence of motile trichomonads. - Atrophic Vaginitis: Thinning and inflammation of the vaginal walls due to decreased estrogen levels, often seen in postmenopausal women.
