Depending on the HSG results, different steps may be taken. If blockages or abnormalities are detected, additional diagnostic procedures such as a laparoscopy or hysteroscopy may be recommended. In some cases, surgical intervention may be necessary to correct the identified issues. If the HSG reveals no significant problems, other fertility treatments or assisted reproductive technologies (ART) such as IVF may be considered.
