Patients are asked to rate their likelihood of recommending the gynecology practice on a scale of 0 to 10. Based on their responses, patients are categorized into three groups:
Promoters (score 9-10): Loyal patients who are likely to recommend the practice. Passives (score 7-8): Satisfied but unenthusiastic patients who are vulnerable to competitive offerings. Detractors (score 0-6): Unhappy patients who are unlikely to recommend the practice and may even discourage others.
The NPS is calculated by subtracting the percentage of Detractors from the percentage of Promoters.
