In gynecology, fluoroscopy is often utilized for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. One of the most common applications is the hysterosalpingography (HSG), which assesses the patency of the fallopian tubes and the shape of the uterine cavity. Additionally, fluoroscopy can assist in uterine artery embolization for the treatment of fibroids, and it is also used in certain types of minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries.
