Eligibility for Pell Grants is determined primarily by the student's financial need, cost of attendance, and enrollment status. To apply, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The grant is available to undergraduate students who have not yet earned a degree, and in some cases, students enrolled in certain postbaccalaureate programs might also qualify.
