Ideal candidates for endometrial ablation are women who experience heavy menstrual bleeding that has not responded to other treatments. However, it is not suitable for everyone. Women who wish to become pregnant in the future, have certain uterine abnormalities, or have a high risk of uterine cancer are generally not good candidates for this procedure.
