The MRCOG examination is divided into three parts:
Part 1: Basic sciences relevant to obstetrics and gynecology. Part 2: Clinical application of knowledge and problem-solving skills. Part 3: Clinical assessment of skills, knowledge, and attitudes in a simulated environment.
Candidates must successfully pass each part to achieve the MRCOG qualification. Additionally, candidates usually have to demonstrate a certain level of clinical experience before being eligible to sit for the exams.
