What are the Limitations of High Resolution Ultrasonography?
Despite its benefits, HRUS has limitations:
Operator-dependent, requiring skilled technicians for accurate results. Limited penetration depth in obese patients, which may reduce image quality. Cannot always differentiate between benign and malignant masses without further diagnostic procedures.
