Normal DLCO: Indicates normal lung function with no significant impairment in gas exchange. Decreased DLCO: May suggest interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, or emphysema, conditions that could complicate gynecological treatments or surgeries. Increased DLCO: Rare, but may be seen in conditions like polycythemia or alveolar hemorrhage.
