Graduate from an accredited medical school. Complete a residency program in obstetrics and gynecology. Pass the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) or the Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination (COMLEX-USA). Submit an application to the state's medical board, including proof of education, training, and examination scores.
