How are Adjuvant Medications Used in Cancer Treatment?
In gynecologic oncology, adjuvant medications are frequently used alongside primary treatments like surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. For example, in the treatment of ovarian cancer, medications such as anti-emetics are used to control nausea and vomiting induced by chemotherapy.
